Environments diverge. Agents invent specs that no human approved. The coherence cost compounds until the whole system becomes opaque.

Trellis is a project-documentation + CLI system where UCs, actors, business rules, decisions, and environments are first-class artefacts. Every commit can be traced to a UC. Every environment can be validated strictly. Agents edit through the CLI, humans edit through the CLI — one discipline, one audit trail. Open-core, self-hostable, language-agnostic.
